WWW Wednesdays #1

Hi guys! I've decided to try a new weekly meme, WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Taking on a World of Words. For this meme, you answer three questions starting with W (hence the name). The questions are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you'll read next?

What are you currently reading?
I just started reading Loveboat, Taipei by Abigail Hing Wen. It's a highly anticipated 2020 release, so I'm very excited to read it. Since I just started it, and have only read a couple of chapters, I don't have much to say yet, but I have very high expectations of it. It's an extra plus that the main character is a dancer, like me!

What did you recently finish reading?
The last two books I finished are Beyond the Black Door and Technically, You Started It. Both were really good reads with great rep. Beyond the Black Door was a really interesting fantasy world, with a questioning asexual main character, which made me happy to see in a fantasy book. Technically, You Started It was told entirely through texts, and it was a quick and fun read, despite dealing with anxiety. This one also had LGBTQIA+ rep. I'd warmly recommend them both.

What do you think you'll read next?
Okay, so I'm 100% a mood reader, so attempting to plan my reading is a lost cause. But I have a few ARCs that I need to get to soon, Echoes Between Us, Sensational and Hungry Hearts, so hopefully I'll read one of them next. But, The Bound, the second book in the Ascension series, is calling my name, too.

Let's chat! What are your WWW answers? Have you read any of my answers? And don't forget to share your links with me so I can check out your posts!

  1. Technically You Started It sounds like a great book. I read a book that was written all in lists and it was very interesting.

    1. It is! The format made it fun and light and sweet, while still dealing with important issues. Definitely recommend!
